First Star Wars 3-Dimensional motion picture release planned for 2012

It was announced lately the entire “Star Wars” catalog is being edited for a launch of “Star Wars” 3-d run. Digital 3-d editing is going to be applied to each of the “Star Wars” films. The very first installment is due out in 2012. The films could be released in sequence according to the plot. The last three films that can be launched in the 3-d run will be the original trilogy, so the prequels will naturally be first.

Nearly time to watch ‘Star Wars’ in 3-dimensional

Hollywood has exploded with three dimensional films, or rather giving the illusion of three dimensions. ”Avatar” and “Clash of the Titans” are just two of the biggest hits to have come out in both two dimensional and three dimensional versions within the last few years. The technology has come out to help make “Star Wars” 3-dimensional with George Lucas and Industrial Light and Magic. According to The Telegraph, Lucas film insists that it will not be a rush job. Each and every detail within the series can be turned 3-d. This is going to improve the overall quality of all of the films.

2012 will be when the very first one is launched

The “Star Wars 3-D” movie could be launched as “Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.” The series is going to be launched in chronological order. That’s new to some. A release date is the large question. There is no exact date at present. The goal is to have it released in 2012. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that 3-d engineering is something George Lucas may nevertheless have to be convinced of. The movie “Avatar” is what changed him. That’s when his mind totally changed. There is not any word on how long it can be between releases.

Got to get all movie theaters to take within the technology

Currently, not enough theaters have 3-D capabilities. Each year, about 500 are added to be 3-d capable. This technology is blossoming into its adolescence as more films are released in 3-D. It isn’t really known whether “Indiana Jones” or the “Clone Wars” DVD series will get 3-d updates for theatrical launch.
